Nick Jones wears multiple hats within our church, leading our Men's Ministry and also taking on key roles such as the Tech Team Leader and an ordained Deacon. His loving wife is Violet Jones, and together they cherish their two children and three grandchildren.
Nick's dedication to our congregation spans over the last six years, during which he has found fulfillment in various acts of service. Beyond our church, he contributes his skills as an IT Field Operations Technician at Plant Hatch. The Jones family is passionate about both exploring new places through travel and using their God-given talents to serve the Lord.

 April Worth is a dedicated individual who has held the position of Women's Ministry Director at  Smith Street Baptist Church for a seven-year tenure. She is actively involved in various teams and committees within the church, having been a member since 2014. April is the loving wife to Marshall Worth, and they have three wonderful children named Bralynn, Alex, and Sianna.
In addition to her involvement in the church, April holds a significant professional role as the Human Resources Director at Appling Healthcare in Baxley. She possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Christian Counseling from Liberty University and an Associate's Degree in Business Management from Southeast Technical College. She is furthering her education by pursuing an MBA at Liberty University.
April's dedication to helping others is evident through her certifications as a Certified Professional Life Coach, Certified Trauma and Crisis First Responder and Counselor, and her certification as a Biblical Counselor by the American Association of Christian Counselors. Her passion for assisting others and sharing the gospel is a driving force in her life, and she actively seeks opportunities to be a vessel for God's work.

Marshall Worth

Marshall is a devoted Deacon at Smith Street Baptist Church. He is a Certified Flight Paramedic at Air Evac Lifeteam 91 in Vidalia and brings a wealth of experience and passion to his roles. His commitment to safety and security is not limited to the skies; he also serves as  safety and security coordinator for Smith Street Baptist Church. He is a member of the property and grounds committee, and he serves the church through his role as a member of the tech team. He has a passion for brotherhood and small group discipleship. Outside of his professional  life, Marshall is a loving husband to April Worth and a proud father of three wonderful children: Bralynn, Alex, and Sianna. His family is not only his greatest source of joy but also his unwavering support. Marshall's love for his family is mirrored by his deep devotion to Smith Street Baptist Church. He has a profound commitment to ensuring the health, safety, and security of the church and its members, embodying his dedication to both faith and community.

Heather is the dedicated wife of Pastor Chester Proctor, and they have shared their lives together since their marriage in 2010. Their family is blessed with two wonderful children, Andrew and Ava.
Within the church, Heather has been an invaluable member, actively contributing her time and talents in various departments over the years. Her commitment to the church community includes volunteering in the nursery, offering her skills and expertise on the tech team, and most recently, taking on significant responsibilities as the church clerk, trustee, and personnel committee member. Her unwavering dedication and service have been a cornerstone of the church's success.
Heather's secular background is marked by her impressive achievements in the field of healthcare management. She holds a master's degree in healthcare management, which she has utilized effectively in various roles within the healthcare industry since 2011. Her professional journey demonstrates her expertise and commitment to making a positive impact on the healthcare field.
Heather's remarkable ability to balance her roles as a devoted wife, loving mother, active church member, and accomplished healthcare professional is a testament to her exceptional character and the positive influence she brings to all aspects of her life.
